Larry Kaylor President, Volt Consulting – Managed Service Programs
Volt Information Sciences, Inc. announced the creation of a new organization, Volt Consulting – Managed Service Programs (MSP). The Managed Service Programs practice of Volt Consulting will provide human capital supply chain management services, drawing upon Volt’s 35 years of experience in this market space. Volt Consulting – Managed Service Programs will be led by Volt veteran Larry Kaylor as President.
“In today’s fast-evolving MSP market, the ability to deliver a flexible program that aligns to each client’s unique sourcing and vendor management models, and incorporates all elements of today’s complex workforce, is critical,” said Kaylor. “Volt Consulting MSP will deliver a broader range of solutions, reflecting the market’s demand for increased flexibility, consultative services, and broad expertise when it comes to workforce MSPs.”
Managed service programs previously provided by the ProcureStaff and Volt Workforce Solutions (VWS) business units will now fall under Volt Consulting MSP. By transitioning clients from two different business units into the new consulting organization, Volt Consulting has a combined roster of more than one hundred existing clients.
“The formation of Volt Consulting MSP is the culmination of energies of our best and brightest innovators in developing the workforce MSP of the future, and it represents a key step in our larger initiative to align our businesses into three pillars of Talent, Technology and Consulting,” said Steve Shaw, President and CEO of Volt Information Sciences. “As workforce strategies grow more complex, global enterprises are looking to our internal consultants’ depth of expertise to help them define, manage and support a vast array of integrated solutions. With one of the largest global install bases, Volt Consulting MSP clients will have access to a deeper and broader wealth of knowledge across our organization.”
Also effective July 13, ProcureStaff, Ltd. will be rebranded as ProcureStaff Technologies and will be led by Allen Rittscher as President of the new organization. Mr. Rittscher brings over ten years of experience in developing global human capital technology solutions. ProcureStaff Technologies will remain a Volt Information Sciences company, focusing exclusively on enterprise human capital management software products as well as custom software development and integration outsourcing services.
“The establishment of ProcureStaff Technologies as a software-only solution reflects Volt’s continued focus on technology to meet client requirements, particularly for Vendor Management Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems, systems integration, data analytics and business intelligence,” said Rittscher. “The organization has doubled the size of its software and technology engineering teams to speed delivery and functionality and continues to make significant investments in this specialized technology group.”
Volt’s staffing group, Volt Workforce Solutions, will remain an independent business unit, professionally managed under the leadership of Senior Vice President Tom Daley. The VWS organization will continue to operate separately from Volt Consulting – Managed Service Programs and ProcureStaff Technologies, and continue to focus exclusively on providing “best in class” talent recruitment services.
