Christine Deputy appointed Dunkin' Brands' Senior VP, Human Resources
Dunkin' Brands, the parent company of two of the world's most recognized and loved brands, Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, announced two key additions to the company's leadership team - Christine Deputy, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, and Karen Raskopf, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications; reporting directly to Dunkin' Brands' Chief Executive Officer Nigel Travis.
Ms. Deputy, who joins Dunkin' from Starbucks, brings nearly twenty years of human resources experience to her new role on the Dunkin' Brands leadership team where she will lead the team responsible for employee recruitment, compensation, benefits, leadership and development, policy development, and employee health and wellness at the corporate level. She will also develop tools and programs to attract, hire, train, develop and grow store managers and crewmembers at the retail level.
At Starbucks she served in Hong Kong as Vice President, Partner Resources, Asia Pacific Region. In more than a decade with Starbucks, her responsibilities included global staffing, talent management and field human resources. Prior to Starbucks, Ms. Deputy spent eight years with Thomas Cook based in Canada, the United States and England. She graduated with a Degree in Psychology from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
In June, Dunkin' Brands celebrated the opening of its 15,000th store worldwide. The company's steady and strategic growth strategy includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities throughout the world.
Note: Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins are actively seeking qualified franchise candidates in several states, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia. In addition, Baskin-Robbins is seeking franchisees in Indiana, North and South Carolina, Colorado, Texas, Utah and California, among others.
