Gandhi's Spinning Wheel generates Rural Employment

'Charkhas' or spinning wheels provided by the General Secretary of India's ruling Congress, Rahul Gandhi to women in Amethi under the Rural Employment Scheme is said to have generated employment; engaging around 2500 women in spinning jute fibres.
